HOW TO MAKE A Christmas TWISTED POLE TABLE RUNNER

Today I show you how to make a Twisted Pole Table Runner, also known as Ribbon Dance and Ribbon Pole. It stems from the traditional MayPole dance celebrations in England, for May Day.

You need

1 ½ fat quarter ribbon
1 fat quarter pole
1 fat quarter scenery
Cut out 5’ squares to make a 3x12 square pattern 12“ x 48” finished pattern block add a border

I use 1 fat quarter cut into 2 ½ “ strips for the border and another one for the binding

This took about 3 hours to make plus time to free morion embroider the actual quilting part
