Today we spent some time at Coson beach and the beach restaurant in Las Terrenas.This video gives you an idea what to expect in way of beach landscape and what is served at the restaurant in way of food and drinks. For 2 of us the bill was around $85 US so it wasnt cheap but it was an amazing afternoon. Coson Beach is stunning and raw beauty to put it simply. There is literally no development and the whole beach will basically be yours. Its great walking up and down the beach but not awesome swimming as it is very rocky in the ocean. We had the Ahi Tuna and the pinnaple, lobster and rice dish. The food was pretty good but the main reason you want to visit this beach is the ambiance and sheer beauty of the area. Las terrenas is an up and coming area of the Dominican Republic so we suggest you get to this place sooner rather than later as developers are going to get here soon and turn it into a moneymaker I am sure.
