ScaleGrid fully managed hosting for MongoDB® Database allows you to create custom alerts so you can monitor and optimize the performance of your MongoDB® deployment.

Find your Alerts tab at the top of your cluster details page where you can see any active or dismissed alerts, and then select the Rul es tab on the left.

Here you can see the list of Global rules set by ScaleGrid. Click the ‘Edit in Settings’ link next to Account Rules to setup alerts for all the MongoDB® deployments in your account, or the New Cluster Rules button to create an alert for only this deployment.

You can select either Metric, Disk Free %, or Server Role Change as your alert type. Choose your alert metric, then customize the condition, threshold, and duration for your new alert, and click Next.

On the Notifications page, select how you’d like to receive your alerts. Email is enabled by default, but you can also receive alerts via SMS text, PagerDuty, Slack or Opsgenie. Once you’re done, click Create Rule to start receiving alerts on your new alert rule!
