As I continue to ride my 1986 Honda Rebel 250, I decided to check the valve gaps. In this video, follow along as I remove the valve cover, rotate the crank, and check the valve gaps. For the '86 Rebel, the manual states that both intake and exhaust valves should be .002". Check your manual for the proper gap!
