Update: I love the insert so much more with only 1 pocket. It took about 10 minutes to remove. It left holes before, but you don't really notice it.

The kirigami really is great as a passport holder you can toss in your purse when travelling.
The insert has helped prevent creasing on the inside of the kirigami pochette.
Due to the canvas/leather being so soft, for the medium and large one having an insert really helps. Granted it is less likely to crack being so soft, and yet it does crease with use most noticeable from the smooth leather finish.

Honest truth: Buy the whole set from zoomoni if you want the medium and large insert. If you only want the large insert, by it indivudally.
