The message in this video is to check that the elevation is correct before trying to find the satellite. Mounting poles are very often not quite vertical, especially with a 20 Kg satellite dish mounted on them. Sometimes, the elevation scale on the dish is not quite accurate, presumably because of an error in the factory. I'm using a free clinometer app to check the elevation but you can get angle finders in the DIY stores and Amazon ... you could even make your own with a school protractor and plumb bob.
