The Grainger Maker Space and Janet & Craig Duchossois Idea Shop, located in the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, has the state-of-the-art tools that students need to prototype an idea, including 3D printers and scanners, multiple CNC milling machines, a vacuum former, and a laser cutter, among other items, all of which students can use to create their next class project or something much more.
