Hi everyone!

In this video I'll show you how to create an extension to connect an RGB led strip to an RGB controller from Cooler Master and to control everything via software on your pc.

You can buy the led strip in most chinese online stores, and they are quite cheap.

The typical solution is using chinese IR controller with remote. But the batteries ran out and had to get replacements, whenever you turned off the PC the controller would forget what mode it was and would go back to random color flashing upon boot which sucks.
I got tired of this and worked on this mod instead :)

Here comes Cooler Master to the rescue. The controller is software controlled, powered by sata (amen to that), and with a magnetic base. This was the perfect solution at a very acessible price, to make a custumizable ambient lightning set up for my wife desk.

Notes:
The controller already comes bundled with everything needed, except of course, the led strip and an extension for the intended use. Otherwise, it already comes with 4 extensions to use inside of the case.
