How To Send Disappearing Photos And Videos On Instagram

In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how you can send a disappearing photo or video inside of Instagram Messenger.

To get started, open Instagram and either tap the Messenger icon on the top right or swipe left on the screen.

Next, find the person you want to send the message to.

Once you’re there, tap the photo icon in the message bar. You can either take a photo or video from this screen or by tapping the photo icon in the lower left of the screen you can choose one that you’ve previously taken.

Once you’ve taken or chosen your photo or video, you’ll see at the bottom a few options.

By default, it will be on Allow Replay. Swipe the option over to View Once. You’ll now see the time bomb icon next to your message. When the recipient of your message views the message, it will allow them to view the image or video once, and then be removed after that.

And that’s how you send disappearing photos or videos inside of Instagram Messenger.
