Adjusting Mikuni carburetors is an extremely simple process. With a few easy adjustments you can change the air to fuel ratio to make your vehicle run better.

The pilot jet: adjusts idle to 1/4 throttle
The main jet: adjusts 1/4- Wide Open Throttle
The fuel adjustment screw finely adjusts low speed fuel input
