"What's your name, anyway, kid?"
"I don't have a name."
"Whaddaya mean you don't have a name?"
"I never met my parents. All I remember is fending for myself in the wild."
"Y--you grew up in the wild?"
"Yeah, ever since I was a baby, I've been alone."
"WHERE... uh... where was that?"
"It was somewhere, uh, northeast of where we met."
"How old are you?"
"I don't know. I never kept track."
"You think you could be about 14?"
"I dunno. Why d'you ask?"
"... I started to live in the wild when I was that age."
"No kiddin'! How old are you now?"
"... How did you survive alone?"
"I always had fruit and water. Then when I got older I went out and just started doin' what we do, you know. Like my parents must've done."
"You're not like your parents. You protect vulnerable people, you don't forsake them. What kind of person would abandon someone that needs them... let alone their own child."
"I've been askin' myself that all my life. I still want to meet them anyway."
"What would you have to say to them if you ever did meet them?"
"I dunno."
"If I were you, I'd want to kill them."
"What?!"
"It'd be what they deserve. Both of them. You'd have every right. I mean, I wouldn't try to stop you."
"Nah, that's not right. Anyway, I always thought they must have had their reasons, maybe they loved me deep down."
"Listen to me, kid. No 'reason' is an excuse. Your parents didn't love you. That's... must be why they abandoned you. Parents are selfish."
"What kind of attitude is that? What do you know about my parents anyway?"
"... I know what all parents really are. Beneath the masks they wear. What's your wish on the mower show?"
"I never made my mind up yet. I don't want to waste it. I figure I'd wish my parents are OK, wherever they are."
"Well, you're wasting your time, wishing ain't gonna do a thing. But if you're going to do it, maybe you should wish for yourself instead. Maybe wish everything works out OK for yourself and you live a happy, fulfilled life. If your parents had ever truly loved you -- which they didn't -- that's probably what they'd want you to do rather than waste it on them."
"Well, I'll have to make my mind up soon. Why don't you believe in the mower show?"
"It shouldn't matter to you. You've got to make your own decisions in life."
"Haven't you ever made a wish on the mower show?"
"... Wishes don't come true, kid."
