Apple recently settled a class action for $95M for violating data privacy. The lawsuit claims that Apple's voice assistant siri listened in, in private conversations even without using the wake phrase hey siri or through manual activation. Worse is that such confidential data was being used to build market profiles that targeted consumers with Ads(Allegedly) and in the case of Amazon's Alexa exposed the customers to cyber threats.
