A haunting album of bleak occultism and mysterious witchcraft and forestial mysticism from deep within the Swedish pines, from Woods of Vorduin.

Released through Dale of Shadows in a limited run of 50 hand-numbered copies, pro dubbed cassette, two sided 3 panel J-card with slipcase cover – available individually, or part of the label’s handy bundle offers (which I have picked up on more than one occasion myself)

Julius Sergius von Klever – The King of Evil

Intro banner images for December feature the artworks of Baltic German landscape painter, Julius Sergius von Klever (1850-1924); born in the Estonian city of Dorpat (now Tartu), and died in Leningrad, his paintings depict landscapes of Northern Europe, including Estonia, Russia, and Finland. Something of a controversial figure, he was expelled from Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersberg in his early years, later returning as an instructor which he then gave up due to a scandal involving gambling and embezzlement of funds.
