The Everett Railroad is a small Class 3 shortline railroad that also has a tourist operation running from Hollidaysburg to Martinsburg, and Hollidaysburg to Bedford. On this day, the Sproul Special train ran from Hollidaysburg to the Sheetz distrobution center near Bedford and back. Leading the train south was Everett Railroad 11, an ALCO built 2-6-0 mogul steam locomotive. Leading back north was Everett Railroad 126, a SW900 rebuild, originally built as a NW1 for the Lehigh Valley railroad in 1938. I was able to chase the train through the forests and farmlands of central Pennsylvania, getting many great shots of the train. I hope you enjoy!
