How to make a Sheaf Fork for Highland Games. The sheaf toss is my favorite event in the Highland Games and is a real crowd pleaser. Here is how I make my forks. I like the 3 tine antique metal forks as they have more spring in them, and it's just cooler knowing that your fork has been around for decades if not a century or so. You could certainly do a 2 tine fork as well, but I figure the extra tine gives that much more spring. There aren't many details surrounding the introduction of the sheaf toss into the Heavy Events (aka Highland Games), but it is believed to be a North American addition.
