The 1978 Yamaha XS1100 was Yamaha's first big-bore, air-cooled, 4-cylinder bike. It was the quickest production motorcycle at its debut and the "king of roll-on performance". The Yamaha FJ1200 was Yamaha's last big-bore, air-cooled, 4-cylinder bike (at least here in the States). In this review, we will talk about the specs and significance of each bike and I will be taking both of these bikes out on the road and showing you what they're like to ride.
