A Relaxing Evening Walk on Sandsend Beach | Whitby, Yorkshire Coast | English Seaside Village

Join me and Ruby, my cocker spaniel, as we spend a relaxing evening walking on Sandsend beach! Sandsend is a lovely picturesque fishing village, roughly 5 minutes drive from the popular seaside town of Whitby.

The east coast of Yorkshire is well known for fossil hunting and scenic views. Sandsend is one to visit if you’re after sandy beaches, or keen to get away from the crowds.

We had a lovely time playing in the sand. Ruby especially loved chasing her frisbee and paddling in the sea. We ended the evening by heading for some good old fish and chips at ‘Fish Cottage’ - definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!
