Demi Miller, played by Shana Swash, left EastEnders twelve years ago. Shana’s character arrived on the scene pregnant alongside dad Keith, mum Rosie and brothers Mickey and Darren, and proceeded to cause mayhem on the square. However, the family eventually left the square, and Shana – the sister Joe Swash, who played Mickey on the programme – has transformed since her soap star days. Two years ago the BBC star was working in a London pub, but she still dabbles in acting and starred in My Feral Heart in 2017, a film about a teenager with Down’s Syndrome who stumbles upon a life-changing friendship. The movie received rave reviews, but Shana’s latest career venture is world’s away from the showbiz industry. Demi revealed on Instagram last month she is heading up a new business and "coffee empire". Posting a photo of herself in a trailer, the actress wrote: "My new business venture!", before revealing she’s already begun a refurbishment on the truck. And some of Shana’s 5,000 Instagram followers were quick to reply saying they "can’t wait to grab a bite to eat" at the new business. In her free time, the 28 year old spends time with her husband, recently sharing photos of a road trip they took around the UK in a caravan. She also enjoys a sun-soaked getaway and sometimes runs half-marathons with her partner.
