Goan Choris Pulav | Sausage Pilaf

With the Festivities coming on, the big meals are not to be neglected! The Goan Sausage Pulav (pilaf/pulao) or the Choris Pulao is an absolute delight at joyful occasions and Christmas and New Year's Eve are the most joyous one😁 Bring out your batch of Goan Choris and cook up a simple, but dramatically amazing-tasting rice dish! It needs no compulsory accompaniment, but you can pair it with your favourites.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Basmati Rice, rinse and soak (I use India Gate Dubar)
3-4 Tablespoons of Oil
12 Black Peppercorns
2" Cinnamon Sticks
10 Cloves
2 large Onions
2 medium Tomatoes
25-30 Choris (Goan Sausages)
4 Bouillon Cubes of 4 grams or Maggi Stock cubes (basically, 2 cubes each for a cup of Rice)
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
4 Cups of Hot Water
Salt to taste
