Cut several 3- to 4-inch stems from a healthy, vigorously growing mint plant, using a pair of clean scissors or a sharp knife. Carefully pull the lower leaves from the stems.
You can use any kind of container here. 
Make holes with the help of drill machine/hot pointed instument
Insert the stem cuttings into holes, thus fill all holes.
Cut the extra stem of cutting.
Remember, at least one or two nodes of cuttings must be below the container of the net cup.
Fill the bottle with fresh water to just below the lowest set of leaves, with the upper one-third of each stem extending above the rim of the bottle. Ensure that no leaves are underwater, as allowing leaves to remain underwater may cause the stems to rot
Place the bottle in bright light, but away from intense, direct light. Change the water every 4th day.
Harvest about 1/2 inch from the stem tips. Pinching causes the plant to branch out, creating full, bushy plants.
