Mirage 4000 from Stock to Beast

Mirage 4000 in War Thunder is a worthy addition to French aviation tree. It's a blast to fly and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Mirage 4000 is a formidable opponent with excellent flight characteristics and weaponry.

It holds energy extremely well, can pull high AOA, regains speed decently fast and has great stall control. You don't really feel like you're flying a typical delta with Mirage 4000. It has benefits of delta-wing design and none of the drawbacks.

Mirage 4000s weaponry include Magic 2s - IRCCM equipped short-range IR missiles with high maneuverability akin to AIM-9M. They reliably hit targets from behind through flares similar to R-73. Those two missiles use the same system of shrinking seeker FOV after launch. It means that the only reliable counterplay to Magic 2 is not allowing it to launch at first place by pre-flaring.
Super 530D is similar to AIM-7M, except it has worse maneuverability and acceleration after launch.
Pair of DEFAs remain consistent in damage because of their affinity to explode fuel tanks.

Magic 2 and 530D both have longer fuze activation delay compared to other missiles. You should be aware of that fact if you're planning to go head-on with them.

TLDR Mirage 4000 good.
