W4F - Fly Fishing Hybrid Striped Bass - with Flying Soho, Tennessee

Ken Tanaka of Wish4Fish is back on the water. This time fly fishing for Hybrid Striped Bass in Tennessee with Jason McReynolds of Flying Soho.

I am back in Tennessee! This time focusing on fly fishing for Hybrid Striped Bass. These hybrid fish are a cross between a Striped Bass and a White Bass. First introduced in Cherokee Lake in TN and first known as the Cherokee Bass. This fish is also known as a Whiper, Hybrid Bass and Whiterock Bass. They are a great fight on the fly and Tennessee is known to hold some of the biggest in the world. As a matter of fact, one of these if is now currently a IGFA World Record for Length on the Fly for a Whiterock Bass.
