JCL is a way to schedule applications to run on a mainframe specifying files, locations, run-environment, all without needing any human interaction. Used nearly ALWAYS on mainframe computers, and JCL is going no where.

This video follows the IBM Z-Xplore set of tutorials that occur on actual mainframe computers giving you the real experience in operating a mainframe computer.
