2014 Peugeot 308 - DESIGN exterior / interior

Latest generation petrol and diesel engines equip the new PEUGEOT 308 from launch: the accomplished 3-cylinder petrol engine, the THP engine family (international engine of the year 2013), and the e-HDi diesels. The power ranges from 82 to 155bhp for petrol with CO2 emissions from 114g/km. For diesel engines the power ranges from 92 to 115bhp with CO2 emissions from 93g/km.
These efficient engines can be combined with Ultra Low Rolling Resistance tyres, developed in exclusive partnership with Michelin. These new generation tyres permit a CO2 reduction of 3g/km, on average, with an improved braking distance on wet roads with durability identical to that of standard tyres and will be fitted on more than one third of the models in the range.
From spring 2014, new technologies will be offered on the new PEUGEOT 308 including the unequalled 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine (1.2-litre e-THP), plus BlueHDi versions offering a record in the segment (CO2 at just 82g/km, economy of 3.1 l/km / 91.1mpg) and new generation sixspeed automatic gearboxes.
BlueHDi is the name given to the marque's Euro 6 Diesel engines. Exclusively combining the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) function and the Diesel Particulate Filter with additive (DPF) for the Euro 6 Diesel emission control, the BlueHDi technology permits a 90% reduction in NOx, optimisation of the CO2 emissions with improved fuel economy and almost total elimination (99.9%) of particulates.
