What we need to know about identity when we raise children abroad

When children grow up abroad, their experiences will have a deep impact on their identity and sense of belonging. For many parents, discovering that their children prefer another culture, value, belief, language to their own heritage one, can be a surprise and lead to frustration and resentment.
