An introduction to Quality by Design

This #video gives a short (10 min) introduction to Quality by Design (QbD) and Process Analytical Technologies (PAT), which are vital concepts in the #pharmaceuticalindustry. The Food and Drug Agency has implemented concepts of QbD into its pre-market processes and launched a report on its use in 2004. The focus of this concept is that quality should be built into a product with an understanding of the process rather than the original quality after design concept. This means the process should be adaptable, and PAT should be used to measure and control critical process parameters and critical quality attributes in order to assure #product quality.
