Detective Pikachu Stars & Director Play "Know Your Pokemon"

In honor of Pokémon Detective Pikachu making its way into theaters this week, Warner Bros. brought us to Tokyo to get an early look at director Rob Letterman's film and chat with stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, and Kathryn Newton. All well and good, but I had an ulterior motive: To find the best potential Pokémon trainer of the bunch, the very best, like no one ever was.

To that end, I sprung a Pokémon Pop Quiz on the cast and crew of Detective Pikachu to see if they knew their stuff and were up to snuff on all things Pokémon. Keep an eye out for more insider content in both cast and crew interviews and chats from the red carpet premiere with our own Steve Weintraub, but in the meantime feel free to see how well you know your Pokémon!
