In this video, I embark on the journey of sewing my great-great grandma's underwear... Let me explain. I'm a Volga Tatar, and these are the traditional Volga Tatar undergarments that my great great-great-grandmother would have worn. I've been heavily researching Volga Tatar historical fashion, even though a lot of information is very challenging to find, and I thought it was time, now that I recently finished sewing a Volga Tatar historical dress, to also sewing some matching historical underwear.
