(Rail Strikes) Trains at Radley (CVL) - 16/12/2022

Описание к видео (Rail Strikes) Trains at Radley (CVL) - 16/12/2022

(Train codes weren't added for this one - combo of it being so cold, and me forgetting! I'll try incorporating them into next years vids!)

The 180th video of my train spotting adventures.
-----
This video brings us just south of Oxford's outer edges to the countryside village and station of Radley. A small, 2-platform rural-centred station, it's situated on the Cherwell Valley Line between Oxford and Culham, featuring limited services in the form of help points, a ticket machine, a small carpark, bus-type shelters and a footbridge. There's currently no step-free access from the Didcot-bound side.
-
Services are entirely provided by GWR, with usually an hourly service between Oxford and Didcot Parkway, with some extending to Banbury, alongside passing Cross Country & InterCity GWR services, and many freight units. Strike action on this day meant a good 50% overall reduction in services on the line, though perhaps a less impactful loss than other lines.
