Ford F450 4.5" Carli Lifted Dually In Australia!!

"Australia needs more dual wheel trucks" is the opinion of the team at Big Dog Builds and this brand new F450 Platinum was definitely an impact statement. This is the start of some tough DRW trucks coming through the Big Dog Builds workshop so stay tuned.

We got the call to source a good 4-6" lift along with 37 inch tyres to suit this brand new truck and the difference in the stock truck to how it sits now is next level.

A Carli 4.5" F450 Pintop lift kit was the choice of suspension for this truck and we have paired this up with a custom made set of wheels from American Force.

The Carli Lift kit ensures the best alignment is achieved and the custom tunes 2.5" King Shocks will absorb a lot of the unwanted feedback typical in these heavy sprung tow rigs. Engineered to suit each platform we are constantly blown away by the quality of Carli kits and are proud to be Australia's go to Carli dealer.

We have also installed a dual steering stabiliser consisting of custom Kings Gold Anodised Shocks and a bracket kit from PMF Suspension USA.

American Force are a popular choice for good quality custom offset wheels and our customer chose a mix of satin black / milled surfaces for his 22" package. We have a second set of centre caps and wheel nut covers on the way from USA to suit this package and the customer can chop and change looks as desired.

We have wrapped the wheels in 37x12.5x22 Toyo Open Country Tyres for great on road performance which will keep up with the work ahead.

We have swapped the large front plastic valance for one off a Tremor spec truck which opens up the front end for a great stance.

We have a few more things to complete on this truck before it hits the road and look forward to receiving lots of pictures when the customer hits the road and has the boat on the back.
