Hyderabad: In a shocking incident on May 28, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by five young men when she was returning home after a party in the Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad. The incident came to light only on Friday June 3.
Initial reports said that the girl had gone to the pub with her friend. After that friend left the pub, the girl befriended some other strange boys there.
The boys had offered to drop her home. But, they went to a pastry and coffee shop, where they changed into an Innova. After travelling for a while, she was allegedly abused inside the parked vehicle in the city. They took turns raping her while the others stood guard outside, the police said.
The BJP in Telangana has been demanding the arrest of the minor son of an All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA in connection with the gang-rape case.
