Описание к видео 2019 Poston Pilgrimage

Poston was one of the ten American WWII concentration camps. Opened on June 2, 1942, Minidoka received people from Central and Southern California. It had over 17,000 detainees at its peak. The camp eventually closed on November 10, 1945.

In 2018, The Poston Community Alliance held its first pilgrimage in Poston. With support from the tribal community of the Colorado River Indian Tribes, 250 people from all over the country were able to attend.

Here are some highlights from the 2019 Poston Pilgrimage.
