Vellore, is a small town surrounded by hills on all four sides, 145 km from Chennai. The CMC (Christian Medical College) Hospital was built in 1900 in this city. At the center of which the vitality of the people of this region can be seen. People from different countries of Asia come to this hospital to save their lives. Next to it is the fort of Tipu Sultan, one of the great heroes of the tragedy. Where his family has blood stains. After killing this hero, the English brought his family to this fort and took them prisoner. Many are later reported to have been killed.
The family graveyard of the great Tipu Sultan and Tipu Sultan Masjid is one of the another attractions of Vallore which is located near from CMC.
Muslims who comes in CMC for treatment purpose, also make a visit in this masjid and say prayer.
