Since 1983, Sifu Kwan has taught traditional Fu Jow Pai Kung Fu to interested students and has trained many tournament champions. In 1994, Sifu Kwan was elected Vice President of the Eastern United States Kung Fu Federation. In addition to traditional classes, Sifu Kwan teaches Chinese Lion Dancing. His Lion Dance team has performed on cable TV and in many cultural events.

In 1988, legendary Tiger Claw master Wai Hong decided that Chinese martial arts needed a shot of publicity. He organized the first Kung Fu Master Exhibition in Chinatown, NYC. It was an afternoon of martial art education as a number of masters demonstrated with their students. Here Sifu Tony Lau of the venerable Ying Yee Kwoon speaks and demos along with Master Tak Wah Eng representing Fu Jow Pai. Examples of Northern Shaolin, White Eyebrow as well.
