No.50 ‘Spanish Joint’ by D’Angelo.

Voodoo is the second studio album by multi-instrumentalist D'Angelo, released in 2000. I don’t think it’s an understatement to say that this album is legendary and changed the curse of music for so many musicians. Including me, even though I discovered it years later. 😅 It's without a doubt one of my favorite albums and I admire every player on that album. I think a lot of people know the legendary verse groove of 'Spanish Joint', so I wanted to showcase the insanely good chorus bassline and I think it speaks for itself.
I tried my best to catch the vibe 😮‍💨

Charlie Hunter played this absolute masterpiece of a groove / bassline on a hybrid guitar. He is insane! 🔥🔥🔥

I just used the ‪@line6movies‬ HX Stomp with my ’Noble Board’ preset and my Fender CS with the Tone at about 50% 🤍
I've tested the ‘Noble Board’ preset side-by-side with the real thing (and my favorite setting) and I'm shocked at how close I've come with this preset.
