I couldn't resist taking advantage of the beautiful, sunny, and relatively warm day to go flying. I wanted to explore the Lac du Bois Grasslands area just north of the airport. However, the flight turned out to be quite challenging due to persistent and often unpleasant turbulence. Not wanting to push my luck, I decided to cut it short. While the flight itself wasn't too bad, the apprehension about what the turbulence might become was unsettling. Was it a warning to turn back because something worse was coming? Or was it just a reminder to relax and enjoy the flight? Regardless, it was a beautiful flight over very stunning and interesting terrain.
