With food prices expected to rise in 2026 and food bank usage at record highs, I think a lot of us are re-thinking how we buy and cook food. These are a few things that have helped our family - I’d love to hear yours 🤍

Here’s what we’re doing:
• Buying half of a cow from a local farm (higher upfront cost, but big savings over the year)
• Shopping weekly grocery deals and planning meals around what’s on sale
• Buying eggs directly from local farms when we can
• Batch cooking and freezing meals to stretch ingredients
• Getting creative with cheaper cuts of meat and pantry staples
• Reducing food waste by using leftovers and freezing extras
