This remake had a long time coming to be honest. I know a lot of people loved the original arrangement from almost 3 years ago but to me at least, it ran into a lot of the issues my old music was filled with. But one of the biggest changes I thought to go through was reducing the extra sections to just one. The old version from 2 years ago was like 7 minutes or so but a lot of it is due to an over complication of the section parts of the song and that the arrangement was slow going to. Of course another big change is that I actually used instrument sections for the brass as opposed to putting all trumpets, trombones, and reeds as one.

As for the art I tried to actually depict the yatsugatake mountains this time around as opposed to just making gensokyo vaguely as its made often. Said mountains are supposedly where it is speculated gensokyo actually takes place in. But also in general, using real references just adds another layer of intrigue, at least to me in trying to paint the specific terroir of an area. And of course, I tried to make Nitori look back as opposed to just be completely back facing, an annoying angle to do thats for sure.
