Walking from Winchester to Harold Hillier Gardens - Part One - AJ UK LIVE Walks

Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is an arboretum in Ampfield, near Romsey, Hampshire. With over 180 acres, and more than 42,000 trees and shrubs, including many rare varieties, I thought I would pop over for a visit.

Of course, me being me, that means walking, and taking the scenic route whilst I'm at it. My day took me over 23.5 miles, 54,105 steps, and around 11 and a half hours on foot, from Winchester to the gardens themselves.

This series has become something of a labour of love for me, as I have decided to put more effort into my videos, creating and adding animated maps and text. I just hope more than 10 people watch it!

Part Two will feature the amazing gardens themselves. I hope you look forward to it!
