How to install KDE on Ubuntu. You will be able to choose if you want the pre-configured Kubuntu Desktop or the fresh official KDE Desktop. If you choose KDE Desktop you will then have a choice of choosing a bloated install with tons of KDE apps, or a simple KDE Desktop with a minimal set of applications. If you choose Kubuntu it will come bloated with KDE apps, and Ubuntu apps. They are a mess.


Show Notes

To install Kubuntu Desktop open Terminal and type and hit enter. Then install packages and you are done. Logout and log back in and choose Kubuntu.
