Drawing figures can feel really difficult when our experience and interest is drawing architecture. Yet streetscapes and buildings without people can often look lifeless and empty. In this video Stephen explains his way of thinking of as he draws figures in support-act roles to the architecture which is invariably the star of the drawing. His approach has enabled him to go from avoiding drawing people (or cars) in his streets, to creating full and real streetscapes
