Uhuru Park is a 12.9 hectare (32 acre) recreational park adjacent to the central business district(CBD) of Nairobi, Kenya. It was opened to the general public by the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on 23 May 1969,then in 2019 it was closed,it's has been under revamped for almost four years to be opened in 2024. It contains an artificial lake, several national monuments, and an assembly groundMuslims flock the streets during the Eid Mubarak celebrations at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.Eid-ul-Fitr is a major religious holiday for Muslims that marks the end of the month-long fasting period of Ramadan which is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
