The funny thing about this video is that the whole idea of taking risks was kind of BS. I meant what I said, but that didn’t have much to do with why I cut my hair. I entirely cut my hair for gender related reasons, but I couldn’t talk about that yet on my channel. I knew I would have to acknowledge that I had cut all my hair off so I came up with this whole taking risks thing and that’s what the video became. Perhaps the reason I cringe when watching this video - apart from the stupid “first cut is the deepest” joke - is I can see how much I’m hiding and how inauthentic I’m being.
