#Preterism
Jude is telling his audience that he is writing to them after the Second Coming of Christ, which occurred in 70AD.

Are we willing to receive his message?
Three (3) verses in Jude make this clear:

1. Verse 5:
"But I want to remind you, though you once knew all of these things, that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of “Egypt” (Jerusalem; Rev. 11:8), the second time (“deuteron”) (His Second Coming in 70AD) destroyed those who did not believe."

Consider:
“Egypt” is a reference to 70AD Jerusalem (See Revelation 11:8). Jude is writing after The Book of Revelation was written. His audience would have made the connection ("Egypt" = Jerusalem)

Most Bibles translate “deuteron” (“second time”) as “afterward.” This is the translator’s choice (probably based his inability to reconcile a “second time” in reference to Egypt). There was no “second time” in Egypt. This is further evidence that “Egypt” is a reference to 70AD Jerusalem.

This “second time” is a reference to the Second Coming. The Book of Hebrews was looking FORWARD to the "second time" that Jesus would come (Heb. 9:28 “deuterou," from same root word used in Jude v5).
Jude was looking BACK on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

2. Verse 14
"Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord came (Aorist Indicative = past action) (His Second Coming in 70AD) with ten thousands of His saints,"

Consider:
Jude speaks of Enoch’s prophecy of the Second Coming of Christ as a past event. “The Lord came” (or “has come”). This is the “aorist indicative” verb tense in the Greek. This is past tense.

Jude is stating that Enoch's prophecy was already fulfilled prior to Jude writing his epistle.

3. Verse 21:
"keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Consider:
Jude is looking for “the mercy” of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is not looking for “the appearing” or “the coming” of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude is writing after Jesus’ Second Coming. Christians will receive His mercy when we die and pass away from this age to the next age (eternal life). We will "look for His mercy" at the Great White Throne Judgment. Mercy is needed in time of judgment. Mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13b).

We are going to Him, He is not coming to us.

Jesus returned for the people that He said that He would return for: The first century church (“firstfruits”) in 70AD.
