✨Dear friends, this week we are in the Houtan area of Pudong District, Shanghai, China.

The Houtan, or Expo area, is located in the western part of the Pudong district and is home to the Expo Culture Park, Lupu Bridge, Shanghai World Expo Park, Mercedes-Benz Arena, and China Art Museum, where the 2010 Shanghai World Expo was held.

*📍Expo Culture Park, located in the core area of the Houtan, with a land area of about 2 square kilometres, is the largest park green space along the river in the downtown area of Shanghai, and the park has been built yet to be opened in the Twin Hills, which is the only mountain in the downtown area of Shanghai.

*📍Lupu Bridge is a river crossing in Shanghai connecting Huangpu District and Pudong New District, with a total length of 8,722 metres and a main bridge of 750 metres.

*📍The Mercedes-Benz Cultural Arena, located in the Shanghai World Expo Park, features an 18,000-seat main arena, as well as a music club, cinema, ice rink, restaurants, and retail areas.

*📍China Art Museum, converted from the former China Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

After the Expo, the Mercedes-Benz Cultural Arena,together with the China Art Museum and the Expo Axis, became the permanent pavilions of the Shanghai World Expo, and have been retained in use ever since.
