This video was filmed between 2021/02/06 and 2022/02/04. This is the revised version.
The MTR R-train, which is made by Hyundai Rotem in South Korea, is the newest train on the MTR network. This 9-car train debuted in 2021 to slowly replace the old 12-car MLR-train. When the R-train entered service, it was not that of a smooth transition. But now, it has slowly become the main train set for the East Rail Line. Let's see how the East Rail Line is operated with mixed fleets! MLR version is in the making!
