2wd On-Road National 2024 - Bedworth Round 5 - C final leg 1. Xray X4F Frontie

I only did 2 round of frontie nationals last year and this year I'd concentrated on off road racing, but with the chance of doing a fairly close round I decided I'd go give the frontie a run before the outdoor season comes to a close.

I took a couple of runs to get my eye in back running the frontie again, and then in Q2 the driveshaft fell apart... Q3 was a different story though going 3 secs faster than my previous PB around this track and landing me 23rd in round. I now needed another decent run to secure the C final.

Q4 was my best run of the whole day. Starting first I had a clear track and I was passing cars constantly throughout the 5 minute run. Finishing now 7 seconds faster than my old PB. That's half a lap!

The track had changed a lot since the heats with some rainfall, so I fitted the wet tyres and left the car as it was. My driving wasn't a clean or smooth as before, but I managed to salvage 5th from Leg 1
