Comparing Marabu, Silkcraft (Dupont) outliner for silk painting.

In this video I am comparing marabu contours and effects gold outliner with silkcraft gold outliner. Both of these are iron fixable products for use with silk painting.

I will frame up a piece of silk, then try the Marabu outliner followed by the Silkcraft (currently Dupont) outliner. If you have an old Silkcraft outliner then it's the Marabu product inside.

In this video I talk about using an oven at 160° for 15 minutes to set your outliner. This is in Celsius. This would normally only be done after your outliner is fully dry and your silk has been painted.

EDIT: Since I made this video, I have heard that Silkcraft will be able to sell Marabu outliners again soon as they have sorted out the supply issues! This is exciting as they are my favourite. I would say that the Silkcraft own brand and the Dupont are a good substitute if you can't get Marabu.

(In my opinion, do NOT get Pebeo - it is a much inferior product and doesn't play nicely at all!)
