Zafrani Paneer Handi,Cottage Cheese Recipe,Quick & Easy Paneer Masala,Restaurant Style Handi Paneer
This is an authentic restaurant style recipe and we have made this recipe at it is tradionally made in mitti ki handi or an earthenware pot. In a way this is ancient recipe as in earlier times rajas or maharajas used to have saffron/silver bhasma/gold bhasma/moti bhasma in their dishes and being inspired from that I have created this dish. And, they use to cook in mitti ka chula but, I don't have that so, I am cooking it on my cooktop. And, you will find very unique and different flavors by cooking in this earthen pot. And, you will definately like it and you can best enjoy this dish along with tandoori naan or roti.
Please follow the steps as explained in the video for best results.
TIPS
1. Make sure that you marinate the paneer for at least 15 minutes.
2. Make sure that you use good quality saffron to get amazing saffron flavor.

COTTAGE CHEESE/PANEER 400 GM
YOGURT/DAHI 4 TBSP
GINGER GARLIC PASTE 1 TBSP
SALT 1/2 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
INGREDIENTS FOR GRAVY
OIL 3 TBSP
BUTTER (SALTED) 2 TBSP
GREEN CHILLI (CHOPPED) 3 NOS.
GINGER GARLIC PASTE 1 TBSP
ONION (SLICED) 2 NOS.
TOMATO (CHOPPED) 5 NOS.
TURMERIC POWDER 1/2 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
SAFFRON/KESAR 1/2 TSP SOAKED IN 1/2 CUP MILK FOR ABOUT 1/2 AN HOUR
FRESH CREAM 1/2 CUP
GARAM MASALA 1/4 TSP
SALT TO TASTE
