MODULAR DIY | PASSIVE VACTROL VCA ("LPG")

Описание к видео MODULAR DIY | PASSIVE VACTROL VCA ("LPG")

Often called a passive LPG, in reality it's not even a VCA, what it really is, is a voltage controlled attenuator.

It uses an LDR (light dependend resistor) to attenuate an audio signal or control voltage. The light source is a green LED as those are best for LDRs and a second (in line with a resiostor) LED on the front panel.

It's wired so that if nothing is plugged into the second gate/CV input, it gets fed the gate/CV from the first one to either use it for stereo purposes or for two OC without wasting a CV out on the Pamela.

If not obvious, moduls used:

ALM Pamelas New Workout
Intellijel Dixie 2 plus Ocillator (2x)
Intellijel Bifold Wavefolder
Intellijel Triplatt Attenuator
Mutable Instruments Beads Granular Synth (used as reverb)
